rss feeds, and the world of syndication

The speed of blogging

Tuesday, February 20, 2007

Right now I am waiting for bloglines ....

For some reason, it is not updating the feeds. It cannot be that of the 300 blogs I am subscribed to, none of them has been updated in the last 3 hours ....

So I was thinking .... if you are a blogger that depends on (re)publishing the latest news, where one hour difference can make it or not, relying on RSS feeds from feedburner plus a reader like bloglines can get you out of the game.

Sounds old-fashioned, but a firefox opening 20 tabs with the 20 main blogs you read and refreshing them often might be better than relying on bloglines .....
